Established in 1983, the West Rouge Community Association represents the West Rouge community through advocacy, sponsorship and support of local events, and by keeping our residents apprised of development proposals which may impact the West Rouge.
The association is responsible for liaising with area residents, City staff and local politicians to maintain the natural beauty of the community while balancing the impact of development and intensification in our neighbourhood.
The association keeps the community informed about local events and activities, community services, engagement opportunities and other matters which may impact the West Rouge.
West Rouge is a family-oriented neighbourhood and plays host to many great events including the West Rouge Public School Fun Day, the Port Union Waterfront Festival, West Rouge Family Day and new for 2015, our first annual Fun Run.
The West Rouge Community Association is funded through the annual $10 membership from area residents and all board members of the association serve in a volunteer capacity.
