About WRCA, Volunteers

Would you like to volunteer, but not sure what to do? People volunteer for different reasons. Some want to meet people, some feel they need something to do outside of home and work, others want to build skills, while others just want the satisfaction of knowing they contributed to their community – or all of the above!

Here are some great reasons to volunteer:

* Achieve a strong feeling of satisfaction from contributing to the community
* Meet dynamic and exciting people like yourself
* Participate in fun events
* Get recognized for your contributions
* Make new friends and meet your neighbours

A big or small contribution – it doesn’t matter.

Many hands make light work. Even if you don’t want to commit in a regular way, there are always events in the community where you can lend a hand. There are other clubs and organizations in West Rouge that need your help too. West Rouge is one of the best places to live in Toronto, and it’s because of great volunteers like you! Why not participate?

Get involved today:

Volunteering takes a special kind of person – like you! Then, all you have to do is contact us and let us know that you’d like to help out in your community. You can participate in the WRCA as a member of the Board, or on one of the committees. The WRCA is made up of volunteers who devote some of their time and effort to help make West Rouge a great place in which to live and play. They find it rewarding, challenging, and fun too.
