Port Union Community Winterfest - 25th Anniversary

Come out and enjoy this wonderful, annual family-friendly event.

 

Festivities include food, live entertainment, free children's games and inflatables, a vendor market and clothing swap.

 

Winterfest is hosted by the Centennial Community and Recreation Association and is sponsored in part by the West Rouge Community Association.

Earth Day Community Clean-Up
Saturday, April 20, 9:30 a.m.
Port Union Community Centre

Beginning at 9:30 a.m., pick-up garbage bags and gloves and do an area clean-up. 

  • High school students can earn community hours while making our community shine

  • Clean-up volunteers will be welcome to a free barbecue lunch as a thank you

  • Pick-up free compost for your garden, courtesy of Deputy Mayor Jennifer McKelvie

  • Children can build small cedar planters and make a pine cone bird feeder for free!

  • Learn about and place orders for native garden plants

  • Bring your personal papers for shredding

Bring your broken electronics, small appliances, general housewares, computers, clothing, jewellery, toys and more. Volunteers help neighbours learn how to repair for free.
